About The Chickadees
As best friends since kindergarten, Allison and Stephanie have a musical bond like no other. These long-time best friends and singer-songwriters have roughly ten years of experience performing together and perfecting their craft. The Chickadees released their first original album, Long Way To Go, in 2019. Most recently, they were named winners of the 2023 Quad Cities Battle of the Bands Acoustics and performed as the opening act for national recording artists Tyler Farr and Austin Snell. The Chickadees are scheduled to release their second studio album in the Spring of 2024.
Performing a variety of tunes over a range of genres, The Chickadees love to harmonize their voices over the sound of the acoustic 12-string guitar. Listeners can expect to be captivated by well-known favorites and refreshing originals, including influences such as Fleetwood Mac, Lainey Wilson, Taylor Swift, Maddie and Tae, Patsy Cline, and more. From Riverside Casino to the Iowa State Fair, to small-town family events, The Chickadees are sure to appeal to all audiences.
